The Bowmanville Summer SocialAugust 10, 2019 ~ 1:00pm - 8:00pm
Join us for the biggest block party in Bowmanville where the whole community comes together!
What happens at the Summer Social?
The Bowmanville Summer Social is a fun street festival that brings together the neighborhood together every summer to spend time with old friends and meet new ones. There will be plenty of activities for the kids (firetruck, water slides and games) along with live bands and more music!
The event features sausages provided by Chef Martin, ice cream from Pauline’s, and ice cold beer from Half Acre and Spiteful. We appreciate the generosity of these and other neighborhood organizations!
Where is it?
Bowmanville Avenue is usually closed for this event between Oakley and Leavitt.
What can I bring?
Bring your own chairs or blankets and spend the afternoon with your neighbors.
Neighbor Sean Mullin and his team put a ton of work into this event every year. They could use some helping hands on the big day. You can help serve ice cream, organize activities, decorate, or work at the Welcome table, arrange performers, help with vendors and more.
Slots are still available for volunteers…
