Westgate Garden

The Westgate Garden was in full bloom for the 2009 Garden Walk!
The Westgate garden initially started after a traffic calming project. After the city added the bump outs at the corner of Berwyn & Bowmanville B.A. Church started improving the soil and planting flowers. Over the past several years B.A. has transformed the space into a beautiful perennial garden. In the summer of 2008 B.A. and the the gardening committee started a new area of plantings to complete the corner and Bowmanville Avenue side. A Welcome to Beautiful Bowmanville sign was added to mark the west entrance to the neighborhood.
