2012 Garden Workdays schedule:
Seasonal Planning Meeting – Tuesday, March 20th, 7PM – location TBA
Garden Cleanup – Saturday, March 24th, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM –WestgateGarden (located at Bowmanville, Berwyn & Western)
Vegetable Gardeners’ Orientation Meeting – Tuesday, April 17th, 7 PM – location TBA
Garden Cleanup – Saturday, April 28th, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM –GatewayGarden (located at Ravenswood and Balmoral, Westside of RR tracks)
Garden Planting – Wednesday, May 9th, 6 PM until Dusk –WestgateGarden (located at Bowmanville,Berwyn and Western)
Garden Cleanup – Saturday, May 19th, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM – BowmanvilleGarden (located at Bowmanville and Leavitt)
Garden Cleanup – Wednesday, June 13th, 6 PM until Dusk – location TBD

Our final garden workday of the season is this Saturday, 10/27, 9:30 AM until….well, if you come later than 1 PM, you’ll miss all the fun! We’re planting bulbs between 11:30 and 1 PM. Refreshments will be provided by Bob Tulini and Bob Di Domenico. Early morning activities will include weeding, pruning and general cleanup to end the season. Bring trowels, pruners, and be sure to wear your gloves….Rain or Shine…. (Vegetable Gardeners, this Saturday is the last scheduled workday of the season, and the last opportunity to work with the crew to fulfill your community service hours. If you still have hours to contribute, please contact your site team leaders, or me, for independent work assignments.)
