Please RSVP if you can attend or help in any way.
Thursday 10/8 9:30 until dusk
Friday 10/9 – 9:30 until done
Rain or shine.
Bring shovels, hand trowels, rakes, brooms, wheelbarrows, wagons and watering cans.
Coffee from Pauline’s Restaurant will be served each morning. Thursday we’ll have Calico Beans for lunch, and would welcome other lunch and refreshment contributions each day.
It’s out of the ordinary for us to request help from our garden volunteers on weekdays, but this is how things have worked out with Greencorps this season, since the plant delivery did not happen before our major installation date last saturday. We certainly understand that you have work and childcare commitments, but if you have a free day, for the Columbus Day holiday, or any time available during or after your work day, we could sure use your help. We’ll be planting perennials, bulbs, and shrubs on both days, as the Greencorps crew finishes building the pergola.
